Antique 9ct Gold Graduated Curb Albert Chain, c.1891
A spectacular late-Victorian British Albert chain, approximately 135 years old and beautifully preserved.
Crafted in 9ct gold, the curb links graduate from approximately 4.5mm to 6.5mm, giving the chain wonderful visual weight while still allowing it to sit beautifully around the neck. Each individual link is stamped — an exceptional detail and a testament to its original construction.
The chain retains its classic T-bar and has been paired with a removable antique dog clip, giving you multiple ways to wear it. Style it simply as a substantial gold chain, use the dog clip to suspend a favorite pendant or locket, or wear it in the traditional Albert manner.
The gold has a warm antique 9ct tone with a subtle rosy cast.
